Actor Khaled El Sawy has joined the cast of TV series “Layalina”, which will premiere in Ramadan 2020.
The series will also star Ghada Adel, Eyad Nassar, Sabreen, Mohamad Adel, Mohamed Al-Shaqnairi, Noha Abdin, Mohammed Aly Rizk, Hagar Al Sharnouby, and others.
It is written by Ahmed Abdel Fattah, directed by Ahmed Saleh, and produced by Synergy production company.
The series is a social genre that revolves around two families, which will be played by four stars who play the main roles.
The shooting of the external scenes is scheduled to start on Wednesday.

El Sawy's fans will also see him in TV series "Cairo-Kabul", which will also be premiered in Ramadan.
The series will also star Tarek Lotfy, Fathy Abdel Wahab, Hanan Motawie, Sherine, and others.
It is written by Abdel Rahim Kamal and directed by Hossam Ali.
TV series "Cairo Kabul" is scheduled to start shooting in the last week of January.
El Sawy's latest artistic roles were in 2019's films “Al Def”, "Khayaal Ma'atah", "Elfelos", and "Welad Rizk 2: A'wdat Osoud Al-Ard".
It is worth mentioning that El Sawy is an Egyptian actor. He was born in Alexandria on November 25, 1963.
El Sawy studied law at Cairo University and started acting while at college at the university's theater.
After his graduation in 1985, he studied directing at the Academy of Arts till 1993, then started working as an assistant director in the film “Samaka we Arbaa' Oroush” (A Fish and Four Sharks).
El Sawy served as a director for several of the Nile International network's satellite channels.
The actor has co-founded the Egyptian Foundation for Theater Enthusiasts, and wrote plays “Haflet Maganin” (Crazy Party), and “Operette El Darfil” (The Dolphin Operette), which he won the Taymour Award for Theatrical Ingenuity in 1991 and 1992 respectively.
El Sawy's career includes a variety of distinct roles in several films, including “Emaret Yacoubian” (Yacoubian Building), “Keda Reda”, “Cabaret”, “El Farah” (The Wedding), and “El Feel El Azraq” (The Blue Elephant).
He also starred as a lead in television series like “Tofahet Adam” (Adam's Apple) and “Khatem Suleiman” (Suleiman's Ring).
