"Khairk Sabek (Your Good is Previous)" is the largest feeding initiative to expand the social protection network and achieve food security for Egyptian society.
It was launched by the National Alliance for Civil Work for Development, with the participation of the Abou El Enein Charitable Association.
The initiative aims to provide food support to about 5 million families throughout the year.
The initiative is launched as part of the alliance's main activities that aim to expand the circle of social protection by achieving food security for the most needy families.
The initiative was planned to be implemented through three levels:
The first of which is the distribution of charity cards to beneficiary families. With this card, the beneficiary family can purchase their necessary food supplies with a minimum of EGP 300 and a maximum of EGP 500.
This is done through multiple outlets spread throughout the Republic, which will be announced successively.
The second level of implementation is the distribution of boxes of foodstuffs to eligible families in their homes, according to the database of the alliance. This is being done through a network of grassroots associations that communicate directly with the alliance and its institutions.
Distribution is also carried out through the volunteer teams of the coalition entities spread throughout the Republic.
The third level includes the distribution of hot meals through the alliance kitchens in all governorates of the Republic.
Naming the initiative "Khairk Sabek (Your Good is Previous)" is an affirmation of establishing the principles of solidarity among all beneficiary segments of society.
A form for submitting a monthly feeding request will be circulated to the grassroots associations, according to which the most appropriate support and food assistance from the coalition entities will reach the beneficiary families in all governorates of the Republic.
It is worth noting that the participation of the Abou El-Enein Charitable Association in the “Khairak Sabek” initiative is not new. It is one of the basics of its charitable work throughout its 40-year career since its establishment by MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein (as a self-financing institution that does not accept donations).
The institution has the largest kitchens equipped with all equipment and supplies, which provide the largest number of daily meals throughout the year, whether for hospital patients or for the first-care families.
