The famous American screenwriter Kevin Williamson announced the end of the new Scream movie (Scream 5) filming yesterday, November 18th on his different social media accounts.
Williamson posted some behind the scenes pictures of himself with Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and the infamous Ghostface along with the primary movie cover with the caption ‘That’s a wrap on Scream, which I’m excited to announce is the official title of the next film.’
It is worth mentioning that Williamson worked with the late American legend Wes Craven on writing the original Scream movie (which was released back in 1996) before writing all three of the sequels. Also, he is working as an executive producer on the upcoming fifth movie.
The new “Scream” movie is set to be released in theaters in January, 2022 with Campbell, Cox, and David Arquette all reprising their roles from the original series.
