Netflix announced Thursday the premiere date for the upcoming limited series “True Story”, starring Kevin Hart and Wesley Snipes.
The series is set to premiere on November 24, which marks Hart's first dramatic TV role.
“True Story” centers around a world-famous comedian (Hart), who returns home to Philadelphia for a tour stop and experiences a lost evening with his older brother Carlton (Snipes) that could cost him everything.
The series also stars Tawny Newsome, Will Catlett, Paul Adelstein, Ash Santos, John Ales, Chris Diamantopoulos, Lauren London, and Billy Zane.
Eric Newman penned the series, which he will also showrun and executive produce via his Grand Electric.
In addition, Charles Murray will also serve as an executive producer and showrunner while Hart is set to executive produce through his HartBeat Prods.
