Kemet Center for International Arbitration to Be Launched Tuesday in Cairo

The Kemet Center for International Arbitration will be launched on Tuesday in Cairo in the presence of six representatives of Arab countries and a galaxy of legal, economic, and financial experts.

Prominent businessman Mohamed Abou El Enein, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, will be among the center's board of trustees, which is headed by former speaker of the House of Representatives Fathy Srour,  and includes former justice minister Ahmed El Zend, President of the Cairo Court of Appeal Mohamed Reda Shawkat, former minister of transitional justice Ibrahim El Henedi, former president of the Academy of Scientific Research Maged El Sherbiny, former Sudan's ambassador to Djibouti Abdel Hamid Al-Bishri, and Alaa Abed, the head of the House's transport committee.

Kemet center will be a platform for settling disputes between natural and legal persons, economic entities and institutions, governments from various world countries as well as training a new generation who is interested in the international arbitration field.

Kemet center seeks to ally with different related centers and bodies of international arbitration and mediation and apply the best practices in the field of arbitration with transparency, clarity, integrity, and impartiality.

It will be specialized in offering three integrated services, including international arbitration, mediation, and conciliation service, and training service.

The center's board of directors includes the former head of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration Safwat El Nahas, Head of the Egyptian Arbitration Center Samir Jawid, and Ahmed Saad El-Din, the House's deputy speaker.

Moreover, the center's board of directors announced its CEOs at its headquarters abroad; Ibrahim Hassan Al Molla took over the affairs of the center’s headquarters in Dubai, Salman Lotfi Ali for Abu Dhabi and Sharjah headquarters, Abdel Wahab El Bahi for Tunis headquarters, Fayez Sanhay for Kuwait headquarters, Bishri for Sudan, Mohammed Al Shidi for Oman, and Mohammed bin Abdallah for Saudi Arabia
