Egypt's Grand Mufti Dr. Shawki Allam received on Sunday a high-ranking delegation from the Religious Administration of Kazakhstan's Muslims.
The delegation was headed by Kazakhstan Grand Mufti.
They discussed the signing of a cooperation deal between the Dar al-Ifta and the Religious Administration of Kazakhstan's Muslims.
During the meeting, Allam affirmed the depth of relations between Egypt and Kazakhstan at all levels, especially the religious field.
He also pointed out that Dar al-Iftaa has trained a number of Kazakh imams on Fatwa skills and ways to confront extremist ideology, taking into account the societal context of their country and their approved jurisprudence.
On his part, Kazakhstan Grand Mufti praised Dar Al Iftaa's efforts in countering extremist ideology, stressing that the Religious Administration of Kazakhstan's Muslims is looking forward to further cooperation and benefiting from Dar Al Ifta's expertise.
