American actress Kathryn Hahn joined Netflix's highly-anticipated “Knives Out" sequel.
It also stars Daniel Craig, Edward Norton, Dave Bautista, and Janelle Monáe.
Plot details are unknown at this time other than Craig reprising his role as inspector Benoit Blanc to solve another mystery revolving around a large cast of suspects.
Production is set to start this summer in Greece. The sequel is written and directed by Rian Johnson, who is also set to produce along with Ram Bergman under their T-Street banner.
The original murder mystery acclaimed movie was released in 2019 and starred Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Christopher Plummer, Michael Shannon, and Toni Collette.
It centered around Blanc who along with his partner Lieutenant Elliott (LaKeith Stanfield) is tasked with finding out who killed beloved mystery author Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer).
The original movie earned about $311.3 million in the box-office worldwide from just a $40 million budget. In March, Netflix streaming company acquired the rights to the two sequels of “Knives Out”.
Hahn recently starred as Agatha Harkness in Disney Plus and Marvel’s “WandaVision,”.
She is also set to be seen in “Hotel Transylvania: Transformania”, and “The Shrink Next Door,” starring Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd.
