Emmy-winning actress Katherine Heigl and Grammy-winning musician Harry Connick Jr. star in the psychological thriller movie “Fear of Rain”.
“Fear of Rain” is written and directed by Castille Landon, and takes audiences inside the mind of Rain Burroughs (Madison Iseman), a schizophrenic teenager who struggles to tell the difference between horrifying hallucinations and reality.
Rain becomes convinced that the vision of a young girl held hostage in her neighbor’s attic is not the product of her imagination, and sets off to find out the truth with the help of her new classmate Caleb (Israel Broussard).
The movie was shot in 2019 before the world went into coronavirus. It was released on VOD and in some theatres in the United States on Feb. 12 and DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday.
“Fear of Rain” marks Connick's comeback to the big screen after an absence of more than six years.
Furthermore, Heigl is set to star and executive produce the limited series "Woodhull", during which she will portray the first woman ever to run for President of the United States, Victoria Woodhull.
