Kate Middleton Recalls Painful COVID-19 Separations

The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton recalled on Saturday the painful experiences of families who were separated during the pandemic in a visit to Sybil Strachan Primary School in Nassau.

“One of the hardest things that we have all found about the pandemic was being separated from the people we love. But we have also had the chance to rediscover just how important our families are, and just how important our friends are too.“

She also mentioned the difficulties of studying that she experienced with her kids as the whole educational process turned to be virtual.

The Duchess of Cambridge explained: “I always think it is the simple things in life that bring us the most joy: Playing together, chatting to your friends at school, eating meals together, and listening to each other’s stories. These are the things that bring us together and give meaning to our lives.

“The connections, the relationships and the friendships that you make during school are so special. So please look after them, cherish them and take time for them. And remember to be kind, and understanding and loving to yourself and others.”

Last week, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, Caribbean tour. The couple will have an eight-day tour which will include Jamaica, and Bahamas.

The last Royal visit conducted to Jamaica was by the Queen and it was 70 years ago.

Started with Belize, the Cambridges will have three nights there, before moving to Jamaica on March 22nd, and Bahamas on March 26th

Moreover, this tour is the first international one by the couple since the beginning of the pandemic.
