On Tuesday, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton started her first solo Royal trip and flew to Copenhagen, Denmark, People Magazine reported.
Middleton undertook several engagements during her visit on the behalf of the Royal Foundation Centre of Early Childhood, therefore, she visited several Danish educational institutions such as the University of Copenhagen's Center for Early Intervention and Family Studies.
"Denmark is a beacon of best practice in its approach to the early years, with a culture which prioritises the best start in life," the Duchess of Cambridge tweeted earlier.
During her visit, the Duchess also visited Børnemuseet Children's Museum where she discussed the Copenhagen Infant Mental Health Program and its activities of supporting kids and parents about the issue of infancy.
After that, the Royal official visited the Lego PlayLab where she was introduced to some methods of blending education with funny experiments where her trip down the PlayLab's slide was analyzed as part of the ongoing experiment in the lab.
Early this week, media reports indicated that the Duchess of Cambridge would pay a rare solo Royal trip to Denmark.
Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, will conduct an important solo Royal trip and visit, Daily Express cited Royal reports on Saturday. The two-day visit aims to develop the ties between both kingdoms.
Royal expert Victoria Arbiter described the trip as “one of [Middleton’s] most important events as a royal yet.”
She added: “Upon her return to Denmark next week, Kate will seek to promote an issue that’s not only close to her heart, but one she considers vital to the health, well-being and happiness of our society.
“In recognizing there’s no one size fits all, nor room for shortcuts or quick fixes, she’s proven once again that a slow and steady approach ultimately wins the race.”
