Hassan Helmy the director of Turkish Club Kasımpaşa S.K. stated that the club will not allow the transfer of their Egyptian star Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet with a fee less that 15 million Euros.

Trezeguet has become a top potential signing for many major clubs due to the young Egyptian's form in the Turkish league this year, in addition to his great performance with his nation in this year's African Cup of Nations. He won man of the match awards twice until the hosts exited the tournament.

Helmy announced that Aston Villa and another British club officially tried to sign Trezeguet with a fee of 7.5 million Euros, but the Turkish club declined the offer, declaring they will not sell their top star for less that 15 million Euros.
