The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, informed about sending more than 600 fighters to Ukraine to participate in the Russian special operation.
"More than 600 fighters in full gear and with a great desire to clear of the Donetsk People's Republic and Luhansk People's Republic, as well as of Ukraine, from bandits, gathered at the Grozny International Airport named after Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov," Kadyrov said on "Telegram"
He noted that among the volunteers are not only Chechen security officials and residents of the republic but also citizens from other regions of Russia.
"All of them are united by one goal, to quickly put an end to gangs in Ukraine and to call to account the terrorists who have kept the population of the peaceful Donbas in fear for 8 years," the head of Chechnya added.
Earlier, the head of the Chechnya announced capturing the "Zarya" plant, as well as the settlements of Yuzhny and Voevodovka, and a number of villages in the Luhansk People's Republic.
