The President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov announced that the date of the formation of 4 new Chechen military battalions affiliated with the Russian Ministry of Defense is approaching.
Kadyrov said in a statement on his channel in “Telegram”: “Soon, 4 military battalions will be formed, “Akhmad Shamal, Akhmad South, Gharb, and Sharq,” with huge numbers of fighters from the Chechen Republic, and they will join the ranks of Forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
He stressed that the formation of new battalions with fully equipped personnel is due to the large increase in the number of people wishing to defend the homeland, and our task is to provide them with this opportunity.
