Kabul Airport is closed for two days in order to evacuate people who are stranded in its territory, Afghan sources reported on Sunday.
The Taliban will facilitate the leaving process at the airport in the coming hours, according to RIA Novosti.
Those wishing to leave Afghanistan stormed the airport as the US military warned of a "potential" threat to the airport from ISIS.
In the same vein, about seven Afghan citizens were killed during the big crowd and massive run, according to the reports.
Taliban took over Kabul, causing big chaos all over the country.
Meantime, the U.S. government is struggling to ramp up a massive airlift clearing Americans, other foreigners, and vulnerable Afghans through the Kabul airport.
“Any Americans who want to come home, we will get you home,” Biden said while vowing to help Afghans who’d assisted U.S. forces in the country and others who might be in danger.
