The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts hot and humid weather across most parts of the country during Saturday's daytime hours, with extremely hot conditions expected over southern Upper Egypt.
Warm and humid weather is expected during the early morning, while mild to warm and humid conditions will prevail at night across most regions.
The EMA noted that high humidity levels will make temperatures feel between 2 and 4 degrees Celsius higher than the actual temperatures recorded in the shade.
Light mist, which may become dense in some areas, is expected between 4:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on agricultural roads, highways, and roads near water bodies. The mist is forecast to affect northern Egypt, Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.
Winds with speeds ranging between 30 and 40 km/h are expected to blow intermittently across most parts of the country, helping moderate nighttime temperatures.
Along parts of the Mediterranean coast, including Marsa Matruh, El Alamein, Alexandria, Baltim, and Port Said, wind activity is expected to generate waves ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters.
The authority also forecasts a slight chance of low clouds forming over parts of the northern coasts, the Nile Delta, Greater Cairo, and the Canal Cities, with isolated light drizzle possible in some areas. The rainfall is not expected to have any significant impact.
The expected maximum and "feels like" temperatures are as follows:
Greater Cairo: 35°C (feels like 37°C)
Nile Delta: 34°C (feels like 36°C)
Northwestern Coast: 30°C (feels like 33°C)
Northeastern Coast: 31°C (feels like 34°C)
North Upper Egypt: 38°C (feels like 40°C)
South Upper Egypt: 41°C (feels like 42°C)
