The Israeli authorities released Journalist Guevara Al-Budairi hours after her arrest in occupied Jerusalem, and decided to deport her for 15 days from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, along with the cameraman Nabil Mazzawi, after her arrest  provoked deplorable reactions.

After her release at night from a police station in Jerusalem, the Al Jazeera reporter recounted what she had experienced since the moment of her arrest while covering the demonstrations in solidarity with Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood on the 54th anniversary of the setback, in which Israel occupied the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, in addition to the Gaza Strip, Golan Heights and Sinai.

She explained that she was next to her colleague Mazzawi, when the police attacked her in an offensive manner.

Al-Budairi said that the occupation police asked her for her press card, so she asked them to give her 3 minutes to get her out of the car, but they did not give her time and started kicking her, before placing handcuffs in her hands and brutally taking her to the police car.

She added that the accusation on which she was arrested was "assaulting an Israeli female soldier", stressing that the accusation was baseless and noting that she did nothing expect asking them to get their hands of her. "Don't touch me," she kept saying.

She confirmed that she was subjected to a more severe attack by two members of the occupation police forces inside the police car, which transported her to a security center in Jerusalem.
