Jordanian King Abdullah II is set to meet with Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa, who will visit Jordan on Wednesday, according to Jordanian News Agency.
Meanwhile, Al-Sharaa, who is leading Syria during the transitional phase, has received an official invitation from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to participate in the emergency meeting of the Arab League Council, scheduled to take place in Cairo on March 4, 2025.
Earlier, President Sisi congratulated Ahmad Al-Sharaa on assuming the presidency of Syria during the transitional period.
In late January, President El-Sisi expressed his best wishes to Al-Sharaa through his official social media accounts, stating:
"I wish him success in fulfilling the aspirations of the Syrian people for greater progress and prosperity."
