Jordan's King Abdullah returned homeland on Tuesday after having a successful operation for a slipped disc in Frankfurt, Germany, Royal Palace announced.
A few days ago, Queen Rania wished her husband, King of Jordan Abdullah II, a swift recovery following his back surgery to treat a thoracic herniated disc.
“Grateful for the successful surgery of His Majesty, the dearest person to my heart. Many thanks to all Jordanians who sent their warm wishes for His Majesty’s swift recovery and return,” the queen wrote on her Facebook Page on Friday.
On 12 April, the King underwent a surgery to treat a thoracic herniated disc, according to Jordan News Agency (Petra).
On his part, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi called Jordan’s King to congratulate him on the successful surgery and wish him continued good health and wellbeing.
“The surgery, which took place at a specialised hospital in Frankfurt, will be followed by a period of rest before King Abdullah returns to Jordan,” the Royal Hashemite Court said in a statement issued by the Petra agency.
