Jordanian King Abdullah II met with Malaysian Prime Minister (PM) Anwar Ibrahim in Riyadh on the sidelines of the Arab-Islamic Joint Summit on Gaza.
The meeting, which was attended by Jordanian Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, discussed the efforts being made to stop the war on Gaza and ways to end the humanitarian catastrophe facing the innocent people in the Strip.
King Abdullah II warned of the danger of the continuation of the war, collective punishment policy, and attempts to displace Palestinians; which could lead to the explosion of the situation in the region.
The meeting focused on the need to address the escalating measures in the West Bank and Jerusalem, especially the attacks by settlers against Palestinians.
The meeting was attended by Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi, Director of the King's Office, Dr. Jafar Hassan, and the delegation accompanying the Malaysian Prime Minister.
