Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh affirmed that Jordan, under the leadership of King Abdullah II, will always back the Palestinian brothers and provide all forms of support and assistance to them in order to achieve their full legitimate rights on the Palestinian national territory.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian President expressed his appreciation and thanks to Jordanian King Abdullah II for His constant support for the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
This came during Al-Khasawneh’s meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas - on the sidelines of the special meeting of the World Economic Forum currently held in Riyadh.
Al-Khasawneh said that the only way to achieve peace and stability in the region is to move to a political horizon according to specific, irreversible time frames based on the two-state solution, which leads to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with full and complete sovereignty along the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Al-Khasawneh stressed the positions of King Abdullah II, his efforts and contacts to immediately and permanently stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and ensure the widespread and sustainable flow of humanitarian aid.
