Jordanian King Abdullah II, in his meeting with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira, on Monday, warned of the repercussions of the continuation of the war on Gaza, which would be disastrous for the entire region.
The Jordanian King stressed the necessity of reaching an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, protecting civilians, and continuing the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Strip by all possible means.
He appreciated Brazil's position of rejecting the war on Gaza, its continued support of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), and its position in support of the two-state solution.
King Abdullah II, according to a statement from the Royal Court, reiterated that there is no peace or stability in the region without a just solution to the Palestinian issue.
