Canadian Prime Minister (PM) Justin Trudeau announced on Sunday that Jordanian King Abdullah II will visit Canada on Wednesday.
The Jordanian monarch is currently on a tour that includes the United States, Canada, France, and Germany to rally international support for a ceasefire in Gaza and to protect civilians.
During the visit, the two leaders will discuss peace and developments in the Middle East.
They will also discuss ways to expand the rapid delivery of urgent humanitarian relief to civilians in Gaza, support a sustainable ceasefire, and the path to lasting peace in the region, according to a statement from the Canadian Prime Minister's Office.
