Jordanian King Abdullah II warned of serious consequences of Israeli military operation in Rafah, south of Gaza Strip.
This came during the Jordanian King’s reception with Singaporean Defense Minister Ng Eng Hen, during which developments in the region were discussed, and King Abdullah stressed the necessity of reaching an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
The meeting, according to the Royal Court statement, discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries, especially in the defense fields.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Jordanian Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Al-Hunaiti.
