On Monday, Jordanian King Abdullah II received a phone call from King Felipe VI of Spain.
The two sides discussed the strong friendly relations between Jordan and Spain, and mechanisms for enhancing cooperation in various fields.
Moreover, they discussed developments in the region, especially the deteriorating conditions witnessed in Gaza, efforts to reach an immediate ceasefire, provide humanitarian aid to the residents of the Strip, as well as finding a political horizon to achieve peace based on the two-state solution.
It was emphasized to continue coordination and consultation between the two countries regarding various issues of common interest, in a way that serves their interests and enhances global security and peace.
