Jordanian King Abdullah II emphasized the necessity of ensuring the implementation of all phases of the agreement to end the war, warning of the dangers posed by unilateral measures in the West Bank.
During a meeting at Al Husseiniya Palace on Sunday with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Abdullah II commended Qatar’s mediation efforts aimed at reaching a ceasefire in Gaza.
The meeting focused on the deep-rooted brotherly ties between Jordan and Qatar and explored mechanisms to expand cooperation across various sectors, particularly through the Jordanian-Qatari Higher Joint Committee.
Discussions also covered the latest regional developments, highlighting the importance of continued coordination and consultation to serve mutual interests, ensure respect for the sovereignty of Arab nations, and achieve stability in the region.
