Jordan's King Abdullah II reiterated his country's position calling for the intensification of international efforts to stop the war on the Gaza Strip and prevent the expansion of the circle of conflict in the region.
In a statment, the Royal court stated on Sunday that the Jordanian king met on Saturday, with Lebanese Prime Minister (PM), Najib Mikati, to discuss the dangerous developments in Gaza.
During the meeting, attended by Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Jordanian King stressed the importance of delivering uninterrupted humanitarian aid to the brothers in Gaza and supporting international relief organizations working in the Strip.
Moreover, he stressed Jordan’s support for the efforts of the Lebanese brothers to enhance their stability.
