Jordanian King Abdullah II held a phone call on Monday with U.S. President Donald Trump to discuss the latest regional developments and the urgent need to achieve a comprehensive calm to restore stability to the area.
During the call, King Abdullah emphasized the pivotal role of the United States in driving efforts toward de-escalation.
The Jordanian monarch also expressed his condemnation of the armed attack that targeted the White House Correspondents' Dinner, which was attended by President Trump and several members of the U.S. administration.
