Today, Friday, Jordanian King Abdullah II headed to Cyprus to participate in the MED9 summit, at the invitation of the Cypriot president.
The Jordanian king is accompanied, according to a statement by the Royal Court, by Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II.
The MED 9 summit will be held in the city of Paphos with the participation of leaders of southern European countries, and leaders and representatives of the European Union.
MED9 is an advisory group that constitutes a platform for informal dialogue to promote European integration, and aims to discuss issues related to the countries neighboring the Mediterranean Sea, namely Cyprus, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Slovenia, and Croatia.
