Jordanian King Abdullah II affirmed Jordan's support for a peaceful political transitional process in Syria that preserves its security, stability and territorial integrity and protects its citizens and national institutions.
This came during a phone call between the Jordanian King, on Wednesday, and Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides, to discuss regional developments.
King Abdullah reaffirmed the need to stop the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, intensify the humanitarian response in the Strip, and make every effort to ensure the success of the ceasefire in Lebanon.
The call, according to the Royal Court’s statement today, focused on ways to strengthen relations between the two countries in various fields.
