Ayman Safadi, Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, began a working visit to Brussels on Sunday, where he will meet with members of the European Union's Foreign Affairs Council.
Josep Borrell, the European Union's foreign policy chief, invited the foreign ministers of Arab countries, the Israeli foreign minister, and the Secretary-General of Arab League to Brussels for talks on the war on Gaza Strip on the sidelines of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting on Monday.
Moreover, Borrell stressed that the meeting will discuss the developments in the region in a broader context, the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, the need to prevent the war from spreading to the region, and ways to move forward.
