Jordan and the United States of America discussed developments in the regional situation, particularly efforts to stop the aggression against Gaza and developments in Syria.
This came during a meeting between the Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Ayman Safadi, on Monday, with the Acting US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs, John Bass, and the US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Barbara Leaf.
During the meeting, ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and develop them in various fields were discussed, according to a statement by the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
