Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry thanked both Iraq and Jordan for their firm positions on Egyptian water security issues.
"I extend my deep thanks to Iraq and Jordan for the strong support we receive for Egyptian water security," FM said in a joint press conference with his Iraqi, and Jordanian counterparts.
"These positions confirm solidarity and full awareness of the importance of this issue for the Egyptian people. I thank them for these firm and noble positions that we cherish," Shoukry continued.
On his part, the Jordanian FM stressed that Egyptian water security is an integral part of Arab national security, expressing his country's ultimate support for Egypt in this field.
