The Jordanian government has reaffirmed that the Kingdom has never been, and will never be, a launchpad for attacks against any other country. Amid escalating regional military tensions, the government emphasized its strict refusal to allow Jordanian territory to be turned into a theater of war.
Official reports revealed that the Jordanian Armed Forces have successfully intercepted and dealt with 218 threats, consisting of missiles and drones. This figure underscores the significant security pressures the Kingdom faces as a direct result of the ongoing regional conflict.
Furthermore, the government accused Israel of exploiting the current situation to violate international law. It pointed out that one of the earliest violations was the restriction placed on worshippers seeking to reach Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Jordanian government stressed that it is working tirelessly to mitigate the impact of the regional crisis on the Kingdom, prioritizing the maintenance of national security and stability in the face of continuous escalation.
