On Thursday, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi discussed with Japanese Foreign Minister Kamikawa Yoko the dangerous escalation taking place in the region and the efforts made to protect the region and its security from its consequences.
The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said - in a statement on Thursday - that the two ministers discussed - during a phone call - reducing the escalation of El the Israeli aggression, Israel’s commitment to international law, and stopping its escalatory steps that undermine the chances of achieving peace and deprive the region of its right to security and stability.
The two parties also discussed efforts to bring aid into Gaza to confront the humanitarian catastrophe and stressed continued coordination and cooperation in providing aid to the Strip.
Al-Safadi and his Japanese counterpart discussed bilateral relations, stressing the strength of these relations seventy years after the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom and Japan and their keenness to increase cooperation in various fields.
