Jordan’s Minister of State for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson of the Jordanian government, Eng. Sakher Dudin, announced that Amman will host the meetings of the Joint Jordanian-Egyptian Higher Committee during its 29th session this week, stressing that the government welcomes the visit of the Egyptian prime minister Mostafa Madbouly.
Dudin said, in a statement published today, Saturday, that the two countries agreed to hold meetings of the Joint Higher Committee during the recent visit of Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh to Cairo last February and his meeting with his Egyptian counterpart, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly.
He stressed that holding these meetings, despite the exceptional health conditions that the world is going through, reflects the two countries' determination and mutual eagerness to strengthen the bilateral relations, implement inter-cooperation projects in various fields, and maintain bilateral coordination to serve the two brotherly countries and peoples.
The meetings are kicking off today, Saturday, at the level of technical teams from both countries and last for two days.
