On Friday, the French and Jordanian air forces managed to drop seven tonnes of urgent humanitarian and medical aid for the Jordanian field hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza, the French Elysee announced.
Jordan, previously, executed a mission to drop humanitarian and medical aid for the field hospital in Gaza, but this time was the first for Paris to participate in such missions.
Moreover, it provided about 1.000 tonnes of aid.
The French presidency said that the operation took place on Thursday night. It was executed by two planes: a French and a Jordanian.
French President Emmanuel Macron said on X: "The humanitarian situation remains critical in Gaza," adding: "In a difficult context," France and Jordan delivered by air aid to the population and those who are bringing them help."
