Jordan Denies Receiving Medical Aids from Israel

A well-placed Jordanian source has denied the validity of media reports that the Hashemite Kingdom had asked and received medical aids from Israel.

The source told "Batra", the official Jordanian news agency, that the kingdom has sufficient medical supplies such as respirators devices and facial masks it exports to other countries all over the world.

He also stressed that medical checks of the Coronavirus (known also as COVID-19).

It is worth noting, that Haaretz, a daily Israeli newspaper claimed yesterday, Tuesday, that Israel decided to convey huge quantities of the medical supplies to Jordan after receiving a request from Amman to confront COVID-19.

Jordan placed 34th among the countries that affected worse by the deadly virus.

More than 689 thousand confirmed cases were registered in the kingdom so far.

Meanwhile, 8308 persons died of the virus thus Jordan comes in 44th place among the most affected countries until yesterday.

Last January Jordanian experts in genetic science said that technical indicators inside human cells reveal that the Coronavirus that infiltrates into the bodies of infected people shows that the deadly virus is on its way to disappearing within two months.

The Jordanian Society of Genetic Engineers (JSGE) stated, in its report published today, Saturday, that the possibility of the disappearance of the Coronavirus, including its new strains such as the British and South Africa, within two months is a realistic possibility.

The researchers of this Jordanian association based on the study of the ORF region of great importance in the virus, within which its level of strength and severity is determined, and they called on specialized researchers to pay more attention to it in their studies.

The Jordanian newspaper Al-Dustour stated, based on the statement of the Jordanian Society of Genetic Engineers, that “most scientists focus on the coronavirus protein mutations and the speed of the virus’s spread, but they neglect the most important area of the virus that is considered its weapon, which is the ORF region.
