Jordan: Attack on Security Checkpoints Leaves Four Injured

The Jordanian Ministry of Interior said on Saturday that armed attacks targeted security forces, in the Malha area, near the Queen Alia International Airport road, leaving several public security service injured.

It added in a statement, "We will not allow any gatherings, events or poetry houses that violate the laws governing and that would tamper with our social fabric and threaten civil peace."

"The ministry stresses once again that any violation of the law and any attack on public security apparatus will be dealt with decisively and firmly in accordance with the law, in a manner that preserves the security and safety of citizens, their property and public property, and the security and safety of the public security personnel, who ensure the enforcement of the law and the maintenance of security and order."
