Jordan will have June 1 as a holiday and all ministries, official departments, public institutions and bodies, universities, municipalities, The Joint Services Councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and governmental companies will be suspended.
The holiday will be granted on the occasion of the marriage of Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II to Rajwa Khaled Al-Saif, Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh announced on Tuesday.
The decision also will oblige that the working hours of the mentioned institutions will end at 13:00, on Wednesday.
However, the ministries and official departments whose nature of work requires different working times would be excluded.
