Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed on Wednesday prospects for ending the dangerous escalation taking place in the region, Jordan News reported.
During a phone call, Safadi and Fidan stressed the need to reach a comprehensive solution that builds on the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, and ensures sustainable security and stability.
The two ministers also discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation in several fields and reaffirmed continued joint efforts to strengthen the brotherly relations between Jordan and Turkey, while maintaining coordination and consultations regarding regional and international issues of mutual interest.
