"John Wick 4" Begins Production

"John Wick 4" production has officially begun.

Actor Shamier Anderson, who is a new addition to the Keanu Reeves–starring franchise, posted a photo of an on-set chair reading "John Wick 4" on Instagram, confirming that cameras are now rolling on the project, which has less than eleven months to go until it hits theaters.

Reeves will return as the sharp-suited assassin, this time making his way through the criminal underworld in Berlin, Paris, Japan, and then back to the franchise's home base of New York City.

The movie will witness the return of Wick's biggest allies, played by Ian McShane and Fishburne, as well as featuring Bill Skarsgård, Hiroyuki Sanada, and martial arts legend Donnie Yen joining the fold.

Chad Stahelski is returning to direct, who co-helmed the first installment with David Leitch before flying solo on the second and third movies.

"John Wick 4" arrives in theaters on May 27, 2022.
