The US State Department announced today, Wednesday, that the special presidential envoy for climate, John Kerry, will kick off a tour to the Middle East, including Amman, Jerusalem and Dubai, and then he will head to Oslo from May 31 to June 7.
The US State Department said, in a statement posted on its official website, that Kerry will visit Amman to attend the wedding of Jordanian Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, and will hold talks in Jerusalem and Dubai with officials on global cooperation to combat the climate crisis.
The statement added that he will then head to Oslo to attend Nor-Shipping2023, a meeting of leaders in the onshore and offshore business sectors.
