John Cena is scheduled to wrestle at this year's WrestleMania, according to the latest Wrestling Observer Radio. The 16 time World Champion's return on the February 28 episode of SmackDown will begin the angle for his upcoming match.

Dave Meltzer said he was given a name for an opponent, but initially held on giving it out, although he noted it was "so underwhelming, it's ridiculous." Based on what Meltzer said, Bryan Alvarez guessed Baron Corbin or Elias, and Meltzer said it's not Corbin.

Later on, Meltzer eventually revealed it was Elias who will be facing Cena at the grandest wrestling stage as WWE management sees the benefits from Elia losing to Cena.

Cena's last appearance in WWE was back in July on a RAW Reunion.

In other news, AJ Styles vs. The Undertaker is reportedly being planned for WrestleMania 36, according to Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com. WrestleZone first reported the news on Thursday.

As noted, Styles has been out of action with a separated shoulder, but the hope among WWE officials and Styles is that he will be good to go for The Grandest Stage of Them All.

WrestleMania 36 is the upcoming 36th annual WrestleMania professional wrestling pay-per-view and WWE Network event produced by WWE for their Raw and SmackDown brands. It will take place on April 5, 2020, at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
