Academy Award-winning actor Joaquin Phoenix is set to star in a new film entitled 'Disappointment Blvd.', which will be written and directed by Ari Aster.
Despite details are being kept under wraps for the 'Disappointment Blvd.', but the production is described as 'an intimate, decades-spanning portrait of one of the most successful entrepreneurs of all time.'
Aster and Lars Knudsen are set to produce the film along with A24 through their Square Peg production company.
Phoenix will next be seen in Mike Mills' A24 film 'C'mon C'mon'. He will also collaborate with Ridley Scott in Apple's biopic of 'Napoleon Bonaparte'.
'Disappointment Blvd.' marks the actor's first production since winning the Oscar for 'Joker' in 2020. Before the Oscars, the actor wrapped filming 'C’mon C’mon,' which does not have a release date yet
