US First Lady Jill Biden visited Al Azhar Mosque, Friday, and she was received by the President of Al Azhar University Salama Dawood. Also, a number of the university's officials witnessed the visit.
She inspected different parts of the mosque, including its center courtyard where she had a photo.
It was reported that Biden wore an Islamic-influenced maxi dress and veil to show respect for the Islamic culture.
During her visit, the US First Lady expressed her appreciation for Al Azhar and its religious, cultural, and social rule.
Biden arrived in Cairo, Friday, in her second stop of her-first ever MENA tour since being the US First Lady.
