Nelson took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday to share a photo inside a recording studio, which featured her sitting crossed legs as two men appeared to be working on a new track.
The "Black Magic" hitmaker post also featured four emojis of monkeys covering their mouths.
The brunette also shared a series of photos of herself on the platform and captioned: "Let's go," followed by three music notes emojis, further teasing the potential release of new songs.
The cryptic post left the former "Little Mix" member fans convinced that she is launching a solo career.
In December 2020, Nelson left the band after nine years to focus on her mental health.
