Jordan’s Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts will launch its 40th edition on July 23, featuring more than 212 cultural, artistic and heritage events under the theme “A Legacy Continues... Generations Meet.”
Held under royal patronage, the festival will celebrate four decades of creativity with performances by leading Arab artists, including Majida El Roumi, George Wassouf, Elissa, Tamer Hosny, Ahmed Saad and Abadi Al Johar.
Events will take place across the ancient city of Jerash and several Jordanian governorates, combining music, literature, theater, folklore and family entertainment. The program also includes the third Arab Narrative Forum, poetry evenings, intellectual seminars and the fourth Jerash Monodrama Festival.
International groups from Asia, Europe and the Arab world are expected to participate, reflecting the festival’s growing role as a regional cultural platform.
Organizers said tickets for events at the festival’s main venues are available online through the official eTathkara platform.
