Oscar-winning American actress Jennifer Lawrence and her husband, art dealer Cooke Maroney are expecting their first child.
A representative for the actress confirmed the news to People magazine on Wednesday.
The "Hunger Games" star married Maroney in Rhode Island two years ago. They began dating in the spring of 2018 and were engaged in February 2019.
The couple was introduced by their mutual friend Laura Simpson, who famously accompanied Jen to the Oscars in 2014.
On the other hand, Lawrence will appear in the movie "Don’t Look Up".
She is also expected to star in "Bad Blood", a 2022 biopic of Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, who is now standing trial for fraud.
The movie is based on a May 2018 book of the same name by journalist John Carreyrou, whose work first exposed Theranos.
