Japan`s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe commended Saudi Arabia's endeavors to reduce oil dependency On Sunday and promised Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman that a sweeping reform plan would assist the kingdom, according to Reuters.
"The ' Vision 2030 ' of Saudi Arabia is an unprecedented significant reform. It is directed at moving away from reliance on oil and persifying sector on the initiative of your majesty," Abe informed the crown prince at the start of a bilateral conference after the G20 summit in Osaka City.
"Japan will continue its utmost attempts to help accomplish its government and the private sector`s achievement," Japan`s prime minister said.
Riyadh reported the change plan in 2016, with objectives running from upgrading its state-possessed Public Investment Fund to expanding visits of Muslim pilgrims and urging more Saudis to play sports.
"Saudi intends to do their utmost to continue our old, but fresh, powerful partnership with Japan," said the crown prince through an interpreter to Abe.
