Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno said on Tuesday that Prime Minister (PM) Fumio Kishida will visit Egypt, Ghana, Kenya and Mozambique in late April to early May, Reuters reported.
The visit comes weeks before Japan hosts a summit of the Group of Seven nations.
It is worth mentioning that, the Egyptian ambassador to Tokyo, Mohamed Abu Bakr, participated in the breakfast banquet hosted by Kishida at his residence for the heads of Islamic diplomatic missions in Japan, for the first time in four years after they stopped due to the spread of Coronavirus.
The meeting was attended by Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs, in addition to a number of parliamentarians and representatives of Islamic organizations.
